Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistants Wanted – Fit Work Around Your University Schedule!

Location: Cardiff and the Vale

Hours: 08:30 – 15:30

Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (paid weekly)

Start Date: Ongoing from September 1st, 2025

Your Role:

•         Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons in Welsh

•         Work one-to-one or with small groups of pupils

•         Encourage learning and help build pupils’ confidence

•         Assist with classroom tasks and activities

•         Be a positive role model for young learners

 

What We’re Looking For:

•         Fluency in Welsh (essential)

•         Currently studying at university (any subject welcome!)

•         Reliable, enthusiastic, and great with children

•         Good communication and teamwork skills

•         An interest in education or working with young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
