Teaching Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils who need extra guidance with their emotional and behavioural development, helping them to access learning and thrive in a supportive environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting students aged 7–16 with SEMH needs, on a 1:1 or small group basis

• Assisting the teacher in delivering a tailored curriculum

• Helping students develop social and emotional skills through patience, encouragement, and consistency

• Managing behaviour in line with school policies

• Working closely with SENCOs, therapists, and other professionals

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Experience working with young people, ideally with SEMH or SEN needs

• A nurturing and proactive attitude

• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Team Teach or other relevant training (desirable, but training can be provided)
