SEN Support Assistant required for a Primary School in Bolton.

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? Our client Primary School is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work with pupils requiring additional guidance, both in class and through targeted interventions.

SEN Support Assistant

• Full-time role – required immediately
• Supporting pupils with special educational needs across KS1/KS2
• £90 - £110 per day dependent on experience
• Initial 12-month temporary post with the potential to extend
• Located in Bolton, with excellent transport links via M61

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a patient, supportive and flexible approach to make a real difference to pupils’ learning and wellbeing.

The role:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
• Adapting activities to ensure accessibility and engagement for all learners
• Supporting behaviour management and promoting positive social interaction
• Liaising with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans
• Monitoring and recording pupil progress to inform future support strategies
