Salary: £13.50 - £14.50 an hour

Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant ready to make a real difference in the classroom?

We are looking for a committed and caring Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in a lively and welcoming Year 4 class at our friendly primary school in Sale.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning, well-being, and development. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to help all pupils reach their full potential.

About the Role:

• Supporting teaching and learning in a Year 4 classroom
• Working with small groups and individual pupils, including those with additional needs
• Helping to prepare resources and deliver engaging learning activities
• Supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development
• Assisting with classroom organisation, behaviour support, and pastoral care

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children in a school or similar setting
• Is calm, patient, and enthusiastic about helping children learn
• Works well as part of a team and has good communication skills
• Is flexible, reliable, and committed to safeguarding children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
