Role Overview
We are on the lookout for dynamic, energetic, and sociable individuals to join our dedicated team as Teaching Assistants. Your role will be pivotal in supporting our incredible students, fostering an environment where they can excel academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with autism
- Collaborating with teachers to deliver individualized education plans
- Cultivating a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere
- Encouraging and facilitating social interactions and communication development
- Tracking and documenting student progress and achievements
- Offering emotional and behavioural support, tailored to each student’s needs
- Engaging in team meetings and contributing to our school's innovative approach

Requirements
- A genuine passion for working with children, particularly those with special educational needs
- A vibrant, energetic, and enthusiastic demeanour
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong commitment to enhancing the well-being and development of students with autism
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory
- Relevant qualifications or a willingness to undergo comprehensive training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
