Experienced Teaching Assistants – Dorset

Location: Dorset & surrounding areas
Roles: Full-time, part-time, day-to-day supply & long-term placements
Start dates: Ongoing

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Dorset? We are working closely with a range of welcoming and supportive mainstream primary schools across the Dorset area who are seeking skilled and committed Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity for confident TAs who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and making a real difference in the classroom.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support

  • Assisting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs where required

  • Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting

  • Confident supporting children with varying abilities and needs

  • Patient, caring and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Relevant TA qualification or equivalent experience (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
