Are you a patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting individual learners?

We are working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Beaminster who are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a Key Stage 2 pupil. This role offers the chance to make a real difference by providing consistent, tailored support within a nurturing school environment.

You’ll be part of a friendly team who value inclusion, teamwork and pupil wellbeing.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil, helping them access learning and achieve their full potential
• Support academic progress, emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies
• Encourage independence, confidence and engagement in learning
• Support inclusion within the wider classroom setting

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with children, ideally within KS2 or SEN support
• Is patient, caring and committed to supporting individual needs
• Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a school team
• Has a positive, calm and nurturing approach
• Holds a DBS on the Update Service (or is happy to apply)
