Teaching Assistant – Wimborne Primary Schools
Location: Wimborne and surrounding areas
Full-time or part-time (term-time only)
Pay: £85 - £95 per day (based on experience)
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner)

We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in the Wimborne area, starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the classroom and gain valuable experience in education.
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing classroom-based support in EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Working 1:1 with pupils with additional needs or supporting small groups
- Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom management
- Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Supporting teachers in delivering high-quality education and behaviour strategies
✅ We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children (school-based or other relevant settings)
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to support pupils with a range of needs
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA) are beneficial but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
