- Supporting emotional regulation using agreed strategies (e.g., outdoor play, hoops, distraction techniques)
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Full-time school hours, Monday–Friday
- Paid to scale, depending on experience
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting children with SEN, SEMH or behavioural needs (preferred)
- Is calm, nurturing and proactive in moments of dysregulation
- Builds positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
- Is committed to helping children thrive both emotionally and academically
- Enjoys being part of a friendly, supportive school community
What the school can offer:
- A genuinely supportive and welcoming team
- Clear strategies and guidance when supporting the pupil
- Ongoing support from experienced staff and the SENCo
- Opportunities for continued professional development
- A chance to make a real, lasting difference to a child’s school experience
