Job description

Primary Teacher – KS2

Location: Bridport, Dorset
Contract: By agreement (long-term opportunity)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: Paid to scale

Are you an enthusiastic Primary Teacher ready to step into a KS2 classroom straight away?

We are working with a supportive and welcoming primary school in Bridport who are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher to take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a positive school community where teamwork, high standards and pupil wellbeing are at the heart of everything they do.

The Role:

  • Take full classroom responsibility for a KS2 class
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Create an inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive
  • Assess progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
  • Work closely with colleagues, support staff and parents

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Is confident teaching across Key Stage 2
  • Has high expectations and a positive, proactive approach
  • Enjoys working as part of a supportive team
  • Holds a DBS on the Update Service or is happy to apply through Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
