Contract: Full-time – Monday to Friday

DBS: Update Service preferable

We are pleased to be working with a welcoming and inclusive school near Beaminster who are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a KS2 pupil. This is a rewarding full-time role where you will play a vital part in supporting a child’s learning, confidence and wellbeing.

The school provides a nurturing environment and values inclusive practice, teamwork and strong relationships.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with SEN
• Support learning across the curriculum, adapting tasks to suit individual needs
• Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and emotional regulation
• Promote independence, confidence and resilience
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience supporting children with SEN (desirable, not essential)
• Be patient, calm and nurturing in their approach
• Hold a DBS on the Update Service (preferable)
• Be able to drive or commute reliably to the school (preferable)
• Be reliable, committed and able to work Monday to Friday
• Be passionate about inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
