Teaching Personnel is working closely with a range of welcoming and supportive primary and middle schools in and around Verwood who are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a variety of settings. Opportunities are available for both short-term supply and longer-term placements, offering flexibility to suit your availability.

This role is ideal for Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety, are passionate about supporting children, and are happy to travel locally for work.

Position Details:

• Role: Teaching Assistant
• Location: Verwood and surrounding areas
• School Types: Primary and middle schools
• Start Date: Immediate and ongoing
• Contract: Short-term, long-term and flexible roles available
• Pay: Paid to scale, paid weekly via PAYE

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with children or young people (school-based or transferable experience welcome)
• Is confident supporting pupils in the classroom, small groups or 1:1
• Is happy to work across primary and middle school settings
• Has SEN experience (preferred) or a willingness to support additional needs
• Can drive and travel to local schools (preferred)
• Has a DBS on the Update Service (preferred) or is happy to apply
• Brings a positive, patient and proactive approach to supporting learning
