Secondary Teaching Assistant - Fishponds
Full time & Part time roles available
Salary: £285 - £325 a week
Location: Fishponds
A Secondary School in Fishponds is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support students in their SEN department. This is a full time role and will begin in September 2019.
Working as a Teaching Assistant you will be supporting children with their Key Stage Three and Four education within the SEN department of a mainstream Secondary school. You will provide 1:1 support both in class and outside of lessons.
We are looking for passionate Teaching Assistants who want to be a part of transforming education and will make an active contribution to the development of students at the school.
The successful candidate will be expected to support the educational, personal and social development of designated students under the direction and guidance of the Principal, SENCO, Inclusion Lead and class teachers.
WEEKLY PAY RATE: £285 - £325 (Dependant on experience)
Requirements:
- You must be passionate about supporting others and the development of students education
- Enhanced DBS check - Teaching Personnel can provide guidance on how to apply for this if necessary.
- Experience (professional or personal) supporting young people with SEND
- You will ideally have experience supporting young people on a 1:1 basis
