1x Full time Maths Teacher - Starting after February half term

Pay: Negotiable based on skills and experience

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a large secondary school within the NG3 area of Nottingham.

This school services a diverse community which is reflected in the student population and the teaching staff alike.

The school is rated as good in all areas by Ofsted.

The school is part of the largest MAT in the country and prides itself on the support it gives to its staff and pupils.

This school is a large inner city school in the centre of Nottingham. There will be plenty of support for new staff members when it comes to planning and getting up to scratch with the school ethos.

About You

The School is looking for an innovative Maths teacher who is passionate about Maths and about building on pupils' problem solving, communication, negotiation, leadership and decision making skills. You must be dedicated, organised and totally committed to driving standards and raising achievement through the delivery of outstanding lessons. Both NQTs and experienced Teachers are encouraged to apply. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an NQT the most essential quality we look for is 'Strong behaviour management. With the school being a large inner city school it is key that you are confident in your own ability to manage a large class.

You will firstly be employed by Teaching Personnel and then will move over to a school contract following a temp to perm period.

Successful applicants will be asked to attend the school and deliver a lesson followed by a school tour and a informal chat with the department lead.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
