Teacher - Part Time/Full Time flexible roles available!
Job description
Are you an experienced Teacher looking for supply roles that are flexible with your availability? Are you an ECT looking to further develop your skills in education? Are you not getting enough work with your current agency and would like more shifts?
If so, Teaching Personnel are working with several highly rated Secondary Schools based in Wigan who are looking for Day to day and Short/Long-Term cover for immediate or September 2024 starts!
The roles are flexible around your expertise and background and involve supporting students in KS3/4 in a variety of roles such as: STEM Subjects, Humanities, Sport, MFL and more!
Responsibilities:
- Support with delivering lessons and managing student behaviour.
- Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
- Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist students with special educational needs or those requiring additional support.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to monitor student progress and address concerns.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- PGCE/QTS - Relevant Teaching qualifications.
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic educational environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
