Teacher of Science
MPS/UPS
Temporary to Permanent Contract, Full time
Start: Easter or September 2021

For our partner school based in the West Sussex area, we are seeking to recruit a committed teacher of Science, someone who is passionate about improving their own pedagogy continuously alongside like minded specialists to ensure the consistent delivery of high quality teaching and learning.

Being a research school, they really focus on shaping their teaching around what evidence tells them which is reflected in their carefully structed CPD programme, growing their own respectable leaders who go on to lead high performing teams. Whilst they want their teaching to have structure, underpinned by the outcomes they ought to achieve, teachers may interpret this how they wish to optimise impact.

You should be able to create a positive learning atmosphere that ensures all students enjoy their lessons and no student gets left behind. They plan and deliver their lessons that relate to the real world to enhance understanding and bring science to life. You should be confident in delivering all aspects of Science including Biology, Physics and Chemistry at KS3 and KS4.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
