Physics Teacher – York – September 2020
**Full Time/ Permanent - the successful Physic teacher will be employed through till the end of the school year on a full-time basis
**MPS/UPS depending upon previous teaching experience
**Teaching students ages ranging 11-16 up to GCSE level
**Must hold QTS - Specialising in Science / Physics
Our client school in the York area would like to appoint a Physics teacher to work Full Time from September 2020. The school are offering the opportunity of a Permanent contract.
To be considered for this role, the successful Physic teacher must be a result driven/goal orientated teacher that is able to stretch the learning of students no matter what their ability. The appointed Physics teacher will be comfortable teaching students that are aged between 11-16 up to GCSE level and preparing them for exams over the summer period.
About the School
A successful 11-18 comprehensive school of over 1200 students, with approximately 195 students in their sixth form. With modern buildings and state of the art facilities provide an excellent learning environment and their talented and dedicated team of staff are wholly committed to the school and its students. With a broad curriculum which enables students to develop knowledge and skills that lead to important qualifications and the nurturing of talents.
In May 2017, the school was judged to be ‘Good’ by Ofsted. They are committed to continually improving and in 2019 achieved strong results at KS4 and at Post 16. The School is very proud of these measures, but are ambitious for the future.
