Teacher of Maths required in York

Are you a committed and passionate Teacher of Maths? Are you looking for a new challenge in a supportive and forward thinking School?
Teaching Personnel are working with a client School in the Fulford area of York, to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Maths. The school is looking for a full time member of staff, however part time will considered for the right person. The School provide education from 4 to 19 years old, so although this will predominantly be based in Key Stage 3 and 4, there will be a chance of cross-curricular teaching. The York based School have a personalised view to teaching and learning pupils, with each student having their own academic and personal development targets. In their most recent OFSTED, they were graded 'Good' with specific comments made on the Senior Leaderships Team's commitment to the School and it's pupils.
We are offering fair and competitive rates of pay and you will receive full support from your dedicated consultant whilst you are in your placement. Even if this job isn't for you, we can offer a variety of other positions such as short and medium term block bookings, day to day supply and intervention tuition.

What you will require to be successful in the post:
- Relevant qualifications (Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert. Ed etc.) or equivalent
- Evidence of strong behaviour management techniques
- A track record of demonstrating a strong ability to teach, plan and prepare lessons to Ofsted standards
- A creative approach to teaching and raising attainment at Key Stage 3 and GCSE level
- A commitment to develop the personalities, talents and abilities of all students
- A confident and positive approach to working with children
- The ability to be a proactive team member, committed to raising standards and achievement
- An enthusiasm to learn and develop professionally
- A willingness and enthusiasm to commit to the expectations of the role and desire to contribute to extra-curricular responsibilities
- A Child Only DBS that is registered to the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel
