Teacher of Mathematics

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, well-qualified and highly motivated individual to join a successful and supportive Mathematics Faculty. Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a thriving secondary school based in the Milton Keynes.

Currently, I am seeking a teacher of Mathematics with the ability to teach across the full age and ability range, and applications are welcome from experienced teachers as well as outstanding NQTs.

Mathematics is one of this school's most popular subjects with 82% of their pupils passing GCSE mathematics at grade 4 or above and 64% at grade or above in 2018. The school has high numbers of students choosing A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics. The successful candidate will help the faculty improve even further, and will be given every support possible to develop into an outstanding practitioner.

As the successful candidate you will need to;

  • Be a fully Qualified Teacher, with a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education, ideally in Maths
  • Have the ability to prepare, plan deliver and mark
  • Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team
  • Possess the passion to teach Key Stage 3 & 4
  • Have a current Child Workforce DBS or be willing to apply for one
  • Have a passion for teaching to secondary students and an enthusiasm for student's learning
  • Be competent and be able to use a range of techniques to teach the students
  • Be able to convey your passion to the students and have a proactive approach
  • Be results driven with excellent classroom management
