Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a Health & Social Teacher for a School in Daventry!


Teacher of Health and Social

Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025

Pay range: MPS1-UPS3 £31,650 - £49,084

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Teacher of Health & Social Care who holds high expectations for their students and themselves. The successful candidate will inspire learners of all abilities through their enthusiasm for the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high expectations to help all learners reach their full potential.
  • Set challenging and relevant teaching and learning objectives tailored to the needs of every student.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of a wide range of assessment techniques, including questioning, oral assessment, self-assessment, and the vital role of formative assessment.
  • Use effective monitoring and recording strategies to identify student learning needs, set ambitious targets, and plan future lessons accordingly.

Pay Range:

M1 – UPS3: £31,650 - £49,084

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (or recognised equivalent).
  • Degree in relevant subject specialism.
  • Ability to consistently deliver ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ lessons.
  • Proven track record of improving student outcomes.
