Role Overview:
As Teacher of Psychology, you will play a central role in delivering a high-quality, engaging curriculum that challenges and inspires students. You will join a supportive, innovative department currently reviewing its curriculum to ensure it remains rigorous, inclusive, and forward-thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school policies
- Use assessment data to monitor student progress and inform future planning
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports the wellbeing and progress of all students
- Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues and pastoral teams to support the academic and emotional development of students
- Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Psychology or a related subject
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong knowledge of the Psychology curriculum and effective teaching methods
- A passion for inspiring young people and developing critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Commitment to inclusive education and alignment with the school’s core values
