£46,388 (M6) to £51,985.13 (UPR3) per annum / Plus: SEN/ALN Allowance

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and inspirational practitioner to lead on the provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring high-quality teaching, effective use of resources, and the highest standards of care and achievement for all learners.

About the Role:

This is more than just a SENDCo role—it's a chance to be part of a modern, student-centred learning environment where learners are empowered to take ownership of their education. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the SEND provision across the school, ensuring compliance with all statutory responsibilities.
  • Raise standards of achievement for pupils with SEND, working closely with staff, students, and families.
  • Provide expert guidance on strategies, interventions, and personalised support to ensure inclusive teaching.
  • Contribute to teaching core subjects across KS3–KS5 as needed.
  • Embrace modern pedagogical approaches and technologies, including video conferencing and online resources.

Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • NASENCO Level 7 Qualification (or willingness to complete)
  • Proven experience in working with children across a range of special educational needs.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide others.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach to working in a dynamic, evolving educational setting.
