Are you a Geography Teacher with QTS?

Are you looking for work in the Blackburn area?

Teaching personnel are working with a school in the Blackburn area to recruit a Geography Teacher to join their high achieving humanities department. The school is looking to expand the department due to increasing numbers and one of the teachers accepting an internal promotion. The school is ideally looking for someone on a full time basis but would consider applicants looking for part time work.

The school is a smaller than average school with approximately 650 pupils on roll. The school has been judged as a 'Good' school in all areas by Ofsted. For a suitable candidate the school would be looking to make a permanent position available.

NQT's and experienced Geography teachers would be considered for the role. The school is looking for a candidate with a good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Geography curriculum who would be confident planning and teaching lessons to a variety of pupil abilities and backgrounds.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
