An alternative provision in Nottingham are looking for multiple teachers to deliver 1:1, 2:1 and small group sessions to KS2 - KS4 students, predominantly for those with mental health difficulties and challenging behaviour.
There are various timetables that need covering (mostly Monday - Wednesday but there are some variable timetables and some full time requirements too). Teachers will need to be able to deliver English and Maths up to GCSE, in addition to any other relevant subjects, depending on student needs. Students who are working at the appropriate level will be entered into GCSE's later this year, but other students may benefit from engagement and more pastoral support.
The students are taught either at the centre in the NG5 area, or in local libraries on a 1:1, 2:1 or small group basis.

The ideal candidate for this will be:
- Experienced teaching pupils with mental health difficulties and some challenging behaviour
- Experience working with pupils who may be very disengaged from education.
- Confident to deliver a broad range of subjects to a mixture of age ranges, with some planning support from the provision
- Experienced teaching on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Confident lone working in public spaces with disaffected students
- Someone calm and patient with a nurturing approach at all times
