We are currently working with a local authority to provide Education to young people in Stockport. I require qualified teachers to support our young people particularly in Maths and English. At this moment in time I am looking for teachers to support pupils aged 11-16 years . The needs of the pupils will vary and you can tutor up to 5 pupils each day. Their education will have to be personalised to meet their individual needs.
This is a different challenge to teaching a whole class and the role offers a lot of flexibility.
If you meet the criteria below, please contact me as soon as possible:
- Have a teaching qualification
- Can deliver Maths and English (generally low level)
- Drive and can get to a few locations within the same locality
- Can work with young people with additional needs including EAL, SEMH, ASC, Learning Difficulties, LAC
- Flexible in terms of available for 5 days to carry out the tuition daily, every week
In return we can offer:
- Excellent rates of pay (GBP20 per hour)
- The option for you to manage your own diary ( you can do as much or as little tuition as you please)
- Tutees will all be geographically within a commutable distance from one another
- A dedicated consultant to discuss current or future roles with you

Please be aware that all applicants will be subject to background checks and will need a current DBS certificate (update service registered). Teaching Personnel can support your application should this be required.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm approximately.
