Job description

Teaching personnel are working closely with an SEN school based in Wokingham that provides education for a wide range of needs including the following:

  • Autistic Spectrum Condition, including Asperger's Syndrome (ASC)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Dyslexia
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Experience working with children or adults with additional needs would benefit your application; however, this is not necessary.

  • Knowledge of the national school curriculum
  • Good questioning
  • Good observation and assessment skills
  • Knowledge of the standard of work expected from pupils
  • Knowledge of a range of learning support needs
  • Understanding of open-ended questioning and investigative work
  • Problem solving

Additional training including Team Teach and PECS could be beneficial for this role,

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
