Support Worker – SEN
Are you a caring and reliable Support Worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of young children? We are seeking a nurturing Support Worker to join a specialist SEN early-years setting in Bury, supporting children with a range of additional needs in a warm and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to children with SEN, helping them access play-based learning and daily routines.

Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage emotional regulation and engagement.

Assist with personalised support plans, EHCP targets and early developmental outcomes.

Work closely with SENCOs, therapists and teachers to provide consistent care.

Support personal care, sensory needs and communication development.

Maintain clear, accurate observations and safeguarding records.
What We’re Looking For
-
Experience in care, education, SEN support or similar roles.
-
A compassionate, patient and adaptable approach.
-
Monday–Friday availability.
-
Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
