SEMH TA - KS2
Job description
Teaching Personnel are working with a mainstream primary school in the OL12 area that have a SEND hub. As such, we are seeking a dedicated and resilient Intervention Support Assistant to work within Key Stage 2, supporting pupils who require additional behavioural and pastoral support.
The successful candidate will deliver targeted interventions, provide structured 1:1 and small group support, and work closely with class teachers and senior leaders to promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement in learning. You will help pupils develop strategies to manage their behaviour, build confidence and achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
Experience working with children with behavioural needs or SEMH is desirable. The role requires a calm, consistent and proactive approach, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to maintain clear boundaries while remaining nurturing and supportive.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
