Supply Teacher KS2
Job description
Location: NN1 Area, Northampton
Start Date: Monday, 2nd September 2025
Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Ongoing Supply
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are currently seeking a flexible and experienced Supply Teacher to work full-time at a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in the NN1 area, starting 2nd September 2025.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position covering classes across the school as needed, with planning support provided. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment and delivering high-quality teaching in line with the National Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:

Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS1 and/or KS2
-
Managing the classroom effectively to ensure a calm, productive environment
-
Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
-
Adapting to different classes and year groups as needed
-
Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Recent teaching experience within a UK primary school
-
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
-
Flexibility, adaptability, and strong classroom management skills
-
A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
