Position: Year 4 Class Teacher
Location: NN4 Area, Northamptonshire
Start Date: Monday, 2nd September 2025
Working Hours: Full Time – 8:30am to 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Contract Type: Fixed-term / Permanent (depending on candidate and school needs)
Salary: Dependent on experience – in line with Main Pay Scale

Are you a passionate and dedicated educator ready to inspire and support young learners? A vibrant and welcoming primary school in the NN4 area is seeking an enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join their team from September.

About the Role:

We are looking for a committed teacher who:

  • Has strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Year 4

  • Plans and delivers engaging and inclusive lessons

  • Uses assessment effectively to support pupil progress

  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

  • Contributes to the wider school community with enthusiasm and professionalism

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Recent experience teaching in KS2 (preferably Year 4)

  • A sound understanding of the National Curriculum

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
