Supply Teacher - KS1

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a school in the Littleborough area of Greater Manchester (OL15), who are seeking a Supply Teacher to support their KS1 team when staff are absent. This role will involve providing regular cover across KS1 classes, ensuring continuity of learning and delivering high-quality teaching during periods of staff absence.

The successful candidate will deliver pre-prepared lessons, main positive classroom behaviour, and support pupils as they navigate the final and often most demanding year of primary school. Applicants should have solid experience teaching within KS1 and a secure understanding of the curriculum, assessment expectations, and the importance of preparing pupils for the transition to secondary education. The school is seeking a flexible and engaging practitioner who can step confidently into the classroom, uphold strong routines, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
