Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time (January Start) | Levenshulme

Teaching Personnel is pleased to be partnering with a warm, inclusive primary school in Levenshulme that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team. This full-time position runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm and begins in January.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for Year 1 pupils
  • Track, assess, and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and tailored support
  • Foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued
  • Work closely with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and best practice
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 1 or Key Stage 1
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities
  • Confidence in differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Good understanding of the National Curriculum and current pedagogical approaches
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to incorporate technology effectively to support learning
