Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time Role in Gorton (Immediate Start)

Are you a dedicated and passionate teacher looking for your next opportunity? Teaching Personnel is excited to partner with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Gorton, seeking a full-time Year 1 Teacher to join their supportive team. This role is available immediately, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored for Year 1 pupils
  • Monitor progress and offer timely, constructive feedback
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere
  • Differentiate learning to meet diverse pupil needs and abilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources
  • Participate in whole-school initiatives and ongoing professional development

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1, preferably Year 1
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to design differentiated lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
  • Confident use of technology to support learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
