The Role

As the Year 1 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive classroom culture. Responsibilities include:

• Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging, creative lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
• Monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive, meaningful feedback
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to wider school life
• Participating in professional development and whole-school initiatives

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who can bring enthusiasm, organisation, and strong classroom practice to the role. You will ideally have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably Year 1
• Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
• Confidence in planning differentiated lessons
• Effective use of technology to enhance learning
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
