Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

A welcoming and supportive Salford primary school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join the team for a 12‑month maternity cover, starting 20th April 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering high‑quality learning experiences and nurturing the development of KS1 pupils. You’ll be joining a vibrant school community that values creativity, child‑centred learning, and strong relationships with families.

  • A qualified teacher (QTS essential)
  • Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1
  • A nurturing, supportive approach with strong phonics and early learning knowledge
  • Ability to create an engaging, inclusive and positive learning environment
  • A collaborative team player
  • Strong organisational and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
