Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time Role in Didsbury (Starting January)

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Didsbury, currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time position (8:30am – 3:30pm), commencing in January, perfect for someone eager to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to Year 2 learners
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Create an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and best practices
• Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective teaching

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Year 1 or within Key Stage 1
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs
• Solid understanding of the national curriculum and current teaching strategies
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Confidence in using technology to enhance learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
