Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time Position in Didsbury (Starting After February Half Term)

Teaching Personnel is excited to be working with a warm, inclusive primary school in Didsbury that is looking to welcome a committed and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to their team. This full-time role (8:30am – 3:30pm) begins after February half term and is ideal for someone eager to make a positive impact in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons suited to Year 1 learners
  • Track, assess, and support pupil progress
  • Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Work closely with colleagues to share ideas and best practice
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective teaching

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 1 or within Key Stage 1
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs
  • Good understanding of the national curriculum and current effective strategies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Confidence using technology to enhance learning
