Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time

Location: Didsbury
Start Date: September
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive school in Didsbury, who are seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September on a full-time basis.

The Role

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping pupils’ early learning experiences, delivering engaging lessons and supporting every child to reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing clear and supportive feedback
  • Creating a positive, well-managed, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and best practice
  • Engaging with ongoing professional development and reflective teaching

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching.

You will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching Year 1 or within Key Stage 1
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be confident adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Have a solid understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Possess strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
  • Be confident using technology to enhance learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
