Are you a passionate Key Stage 1 teacher ready for your next rewarding opportunity? Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wythenshawe, who are seeking a full-time Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September.

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
  • Location: Wythenshawe

  • Contract: Full-time

The Role

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons aligned with the Year 1 curriculum
  • Monitor, assess, and respond to individual pupil progress
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leadership
  • Take part in ongoing professional development opportunities

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have recent Key Stage 1 experience (Year 1 preferred)
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Confidently differentiate learning to meet a range of needs
  • Have a solid understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Be collaborative, communicative, and team-focused
  • Be comfortable using technology to enhance learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
