Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time | Salford | Start After February Half Term

Location: Salford
Contract: Full-time, Monday–Friday (8:30am–3:30pm)
Start Date: After February half term

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver creative, engaging, and well-structured lessons to Year 1 pupils
  • Assess and track pupil progress, offering constructive and timely feedback
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom atmosphere
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of learners of all abilities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
  • Engage in professional development and participate in whole-school initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to plan differentiated lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
  • Competence in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude
