Contract: Full-time, Monday–Friday (8:30am–3:30pm)

‍ The Role

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils as they transition into Key Stage 1, creating engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity and build strong foundations for future success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver creative, engaging, and well-structured lessons in line with the Year 1 curriculum
  • Assess pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to school life
  • Take part in ongoing CPD and whole-school initiatives

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons
  • Confident use of technology in the classroom
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach
