Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time | Salford | Start After Easter

Location: Salford
Contract: Full-time, Monday–Friday (8:30am–3:30pm)
Start Date: After Easter

Teaching Personnel is pleased to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Salford that is seeking a dedicated teacher to join their team after the Easter break.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver creative, engaging, and well-planned lessons to Year 1 pupils
  • Assess learning and monitor progress, providing timely, constructive feedback
  • Create a positive, inspiring, and inclusive learning environment
  • Differentiate teaching to support a range of learning needs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to wider school life
  • Take part in CPD and whole-school initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Ability to plan differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Confident use of technology to enhance learning
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style
