Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time Position in Irlam (Immediate Start)

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Irlam, currently seeking a full-time Year 1 Teacher to join their supportive team. This position is available immediately and runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Role Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective lessons for Year 1 pupils
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive, timely feedback
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Adapt lessons to support diverse learner needs and abilities
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources
• Participate in school-wide initiatives and ongoing CPD opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 experience preferred)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to plan differentiated lessons to support individual pupil needs
• A sound understanding of the National Curriculum
• Confident use of technology to enhance learning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
