Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time Position in Irlam (March Start)

Are you a passionate and committed teacher seeking your next fulfilling role?
Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a warm, inclusive primary school in Irlam to recruit a full-time Year 1 Teacher. This position begins in March and runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons for Year 1 pupils
  • Monitoring pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and best practice
  • Contributing to school initiatives and taking part in ongoing professional development

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 1 experience preferred)
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Ability to plan effective lessons for mixed‑ability groups
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Confident use of technology to enhance learning
  • Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
