Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time Role in Irlam (January Start)

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking for your next rewarding opportunity?

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Irlam, seeking a full-time Year 1 Teacher to join their supportive and forward-thinking team. This role begins in January and runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess creative and effective lessons for Year 1 pupils
  • Track and evaluate pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Establish a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practices
  • Participate in school initiatives and ongoing professional development opportunities

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 1 experience desirable)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons for mixed-ability groups
  • Excellent understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Confident use of technology to support learning
  • Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
