Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time | September Start

Location: Sale

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sale, who are seeking a passionate and committed Year 5 Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time position, working 8:30am–3:30pm, within a supportive and community-focused school environment.

The Role

As the Year 5 Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing purposeful feedback and targeted support
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ideas
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to continually enhance teaching and learning

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching Year 5 or Upper Key Stage 2
  • Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Can effectively differentiate learning to meet a range of needs
  • Has a secure understanding of the National Curriculum and current teaching approaches
  • Communicates confidently and works well as part of a team
  • Is comfortable using technology to support and enhance learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
