Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time Opportunity | Altrincham

Location: Altrincham
Start Date: September
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school in Altrincham, who are seeking to appoint a motivated Year 5 Teacher for the upcoming academic year.

The Role

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that inspire and challenge pupils, while supporting their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons tailored to Year 5 pupils
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
  • Take part in CPD opportunities and contribute to wider school life

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs
  • Good knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and current teaching practices
  • Confidence in using technology to enhance learning
  • Effective classroom management and leadership skills

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 5 or within Key Stage 2
    (ECTs with relevant placement experience are encouraged to apply)
  • A passion for delivering inclusive, high-quality education
