Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time Opportunity in Altrincham

Location: Altrincham
Start Date: September
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a warm, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school in Altrincham as they look to appoint a dedicated Year 5 Teacher for the new academic year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of Year 5 learners
  • Track, assess, and record pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere
  • Work closely with colleagues to support high standards of teaching and learning
  • Take part in CPD and contribute to the wider school community

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate effectively to support a range of learning needs
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and current teaching practices
  • Confident use of technology to enhance learning
  • Strong classroom management and leadership qualities

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 5 or within Key Stage 2
    (ECTs with relevant placements are encouraged to apply)
  • A commitment to delivering inclusive, high-quality education
