Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time Position in Didsbury

Location: Didsbury
Start Date: April
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a warm, inclusive, and community-focused primary school in Didsbury. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join the team on a full-time basis from April, following the Easter break.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons for Year 5 pupils
  • Track and assess pupil progress, offering constructive and timely feedback
  • Create a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources, ideas, and best practice
  • Participate in ongoing CPD to continuously develop your teaching skills

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 5 or other Key Stage 2 cohorts
  • Strong classroom management and effective behaviour strategies
  • Ability to tailor teaching to suit a range of learning needs
  • Solid understanding of the national curriculum and current teaching approaches
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-focused mindset
  • Confident use of technology to enhance learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
