Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time Role in Didsbury

Location: Didsbury
Start Date: February
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with a welcoming, inclusive, and community-driven primary school in Didsbury. We are seeking a passionate and committed Year 5 Teacher to join the team on a full-time basis starting in February.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons for Year 5 pupils
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and best practice
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 5 or other Key Stage 2 classes
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs
  • Solid understanding of the national curriculum and current pedagogy
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
  • Confidence in using technology to support learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
