Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working alongside a friendly and inclusive primary school in Didsbury, seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September.

The Role
As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that help pupils develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and best practice
- Building positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community
- Participating in ongoing professional development and contributing to wider school life
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of learning styles and abilities
- A secure understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies
- Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
- Confidence using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning
- A genuine passion for helping pupils succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
