Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time Role in Swinton (Start After Easter)

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a warm, inclusive primary school in Swinton, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team just after the Easter break. This is a full-time position, working 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons for Year 5 pupils
  • Assess and monitor progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support
  • Create an inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and supported
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and best practice
  • Take part in ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching skills

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 5 or Key Stage 2
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to differentiate effectively to meet a range of learning needs
  • Excellent understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Confidence using technology to support teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
