Blackley | September Start

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working alongside a warm, inclusive primary school in Blackley that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact at a crucial stage in pupils’ learning journey.

The Role

As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that challenge and inspire learners
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support development
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom where all pupils feel valued and supported
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ideas
  • Take part in ongoing CPD to continually enhance your teaching skills

The Ideal Candidate

This role would suit someone who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • The ability to differentiate effectively to meet diverse learning needs
  • A secure understanding of the national curriculum
  • A positive, team-focused attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Confidence using technology to support and enhance learning
