Year 5 Class Teacher – Full Time (Temp to Perm)
Leigh Primary School - Immediate / Flexible Start

A forward-thinking primary school in Leigh is seeking a confident and engaging Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who thrives in Upper Key Stage 2 and can bring energy, structure, and creativity into the classroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, supporting pupils as they develop independence and prepare for the transition into Year 6.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • Foster a positive and focused learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS.
  • Has recent experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
