Year 5 Class Teacher – Full-Time (Starting After the Easter Break)

Location: Stretford
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: April

Teaching Personnel is excited to be working with a warm, inclusive primary school in Stretford. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join the team full-time from April.

This is a brilliant opportunity to teach in a supportive environment that values teamwork, high expectations, and positive relationships. You’ll play a key role in guiding pupils through the later stages of Key Stage 2 as they prepare for Year 6.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons tailored to Year 5 learners
• Track and assess pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
• Maintain a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
• Work closely with colleagues to share practice and develop high-quality learning experiences
• Engage in ongoing professional development
• Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-year assessments and the transition into Year 6

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5
• Demonstrates strong behaviour and classroom management skills
• Can adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs
• Possesses excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
• Confidently uses technology to support and enhance learning
• Has strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
