Year 5 Class Teacher – Full-Time Position (Starting February 2026)

Location: Stretford
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Start Date: February 2026

Teaching Personnel is delighted to partner with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Stretford. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from February 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 5 pupils
• Monitor and assess progress, offering constructive feedback
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom culture
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources
• Participate in ongoing professional development
• Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments and transition to Year 6

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Confident use of technology to enhance learning
• Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
