Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time Opportunity in Rusholme

Rusholme
Start Date: April
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be partnering with a warm, inclusive, and community-driven primary school in Rusholme to recruit a Year 5 Teacher for a full-time position starting in April.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and well-structured lessons for Year 5 pupils
  • Monitor, assess, and record progress, providing purposeful and constructive feedback
  • Establish a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and effective practice
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills

Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 5 or Key Stage 2 classes
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Ability to differentiate effectively to meet a range of learning needs
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and contemporary teaching approaches
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
  • Confident using technology to enhance teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
