Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time Position in Burnage (Starting March)

Teaching Personnel is pleased to be partnering with a friendly, inclusive primary school in Burnage, who are looking to welcome a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to their team. This is a full-time role, working 8:30am – 3:30pm, commencing in March.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons tailored to Year 5 pupils
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing clear feedback and targeted support
  • Promote an inclusive, supportive classroom environment where every child is valued
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas, strategies, and best practice
  • Take part in ongoing professional development to continually enhance teaching skills

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 5 or across Key Stage 2
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning needs
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Confidence using technology to support teaching and learning
