Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Burnage, seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher. This is a full-time position, working 8:30am to 3:30pm, starting in September.

The Role

As the Year 5 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences. Responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons for Year 5 pupils
• Monitoring, assessing, and tracking pupil progress, providing clear feedback and targeted support
• Creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment where all children feel valued
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and best practice
• Participating in ongoing professional development to continuously improve teaching and learning

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who can bring enthusiasm, structure, and creativity to the classroom. You will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Year 5 or across Key Stage 2
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
• The ability to differentiate learning to meet diverse needs
• A secure understanding of the National Curriculum
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Confidence in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
