Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time Role in Burnage (Starting November)

Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Burnage, which is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time position, running from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a November start date.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons tailored to Year 5 pupils
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Create an inclusive classroom where every child feels safe, supported, and valued
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and best practices
  • Commit to ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching practice

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Year 5 or Key Stage 2
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
  • Solid understanding of the National Curriculum and current teaching methodologies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Confidence in using technology to support learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
