Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time Role in Blackley (March Start)

Teaching Personnel is delighted to support a friendly, inclusive primary school in Blackley that is looking for a committed and passionate Year 5 Teacher to join their team from March. This is a full-time position, working 8:30am – 3:30pm, with the opportunity to make a real and lasting impact on pupils during an important stage of their learning.

Your Role

As the Year 5 class teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons that motivate and challenge pupils
  • Track and assess progress, offering feedback that supports growth and confidence
  • Build a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels seen and supported
  • Work closely with colleagues to share ideas, strategies, and best practice
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to further strengthen your teaching

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 5 or working within Key Stage 2
  • Strong behaviour management and excellent classroom organisation
  • The ability to differentiate learning to meet a wide range of needs
  • A solid understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching approaches
  • A collaborative, positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Confidence using technology to enhance learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
