Full-Time Year 5 Class Teacher
Location: Radcliffe
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: 2 terms initially, with a view to staying on
Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm
Salary: Competitive pay, dependent on experience

A warm and inclusive Church of England primary school in Radcliffe is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time position ideal for a passionate educator who is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences and contributing positively to a supportive school community. In this role, you will take responsibility for a Year 5 class, delivering creative and engaging lessons that inspire pupils and support them in achieving their full potential. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards across the curriculum and ensure continuity in teaching and learning. The school places great importance on fostering positive relationships, celebrating individuality, and helping every child grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued and motivated
• Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress in line with school policies
• Working closely with teaching assistants, phase leaders, and wider staff
• Contributing to the wider life of the school, including events, assemblies, and extracurricular activities
• Upholding the school’s Christian values and promoting the ethos of the Church of England community
• Maintaining strong communication with parents and carers to support pupil development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
