Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time (March Start) | Gorton

Teaching Personnel is pleased to be working with a welcoming, inclusive primary school in Gorton, currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with a start date in March.

Key Responsibilities

As the Year 5 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to Year 5 learners
  • Track, assess, and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and good practice

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a teacher who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 5 or other KS2 year groups
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • The ability to adapt teaching to support a range of abilities
  • A solid understanding of the national curriculum and up-to-date pedagogy
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
  • Confidence using technology to enhance teaching and learning
